About this role

Rally House is seeking a Staff Accountant with 1-2 years of accounting experience to join their corporate team in Lenexa, KS. This role focuses on general ledger accounting, sales and use tax reconciliation, and supporting the month-end close process. You will ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP, and contribute to process improvements.

What we are looking for

Prepare monthly detailed reconciliations and account analysis
Manage sales and use tax accounting across multiple businesses and jurisdictions
Support business license compliance and Secretary of State filings
Maintain and close the general ledger monthly
Analyze financial results and prepare variance analysis
Assist in process improvements and ensure SOX and GAAP compliance
