Financial Controller

Ripple is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, general ledger accuracy, and control measures for its OTC operating entity and BVI offshore entities. This role involves managing monthly closes, preparing US GAAP financial statements, handling intercompany accounting, and ensuring BVI entity governance. The ideal candidate will have deep US GAAP technical knowledge, experience in financial services, and the ability to manage a small accounting team, leveraging Python for automation.

• Own monthly/quarterly/annual close for in-scope entities
• Prepare US GAAP financial statements and sub-consolidations
• Manage all intercompany transactions and elimination policies
• Maintain BVI entity governance and coordinate with offshore counsel
• Apply digital asset accounting standards (ASC 820, ASU 2023-08)
• Produce management accounts, variance analysis, and board packages
