Financial Coordinator

AdventHealth is seeking a Financial Coordinator in Orlando, FL to manage patient payment arrangements, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and liaise with various departments and external agencies. This role involves estimating procedure costs, preparing contracts, and maintaining knowledge of hospital contracts and government programs.

• Set payment arrangements with uninsured/underinsured patients
• Scan financial statements and adjust patient accounts
• Review accounts for collection agency transfer
• Conduct monthly/quarterly reconciliation with physician offices
• Gather financial information and estimate procedure costs
• Liaise with Pre-Access, Patient Access, Case Management, and Insurance Reimbursement staff
