Senior Associate, Credit Manager

AB CarVal is seeking a Senior Associate, Credit Manager to join their team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role focuses on assessing and managing credit risk for loan portfolios sourced through correspondent networks. You will be responsible for developing underwriting guidelines, onboarding mortgage originators, evaluating borrower creditworthiness, and monitoring portfolio performance.

• Create and maintain underwriting guidelines and credit criteria
• Develop and implement mortgage originator onboarding and diligence process
• Assess, manage, and monitor credit risk for loan portfolios
• Evaluate creditworthiness of potential borrowers
• Determine appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions
• Monitor portfolio performance and conduct regular credit reviews
