Financial Accountant

AstraZeneca is seeking a Financial Accountant in Amsterdam to ensure accurate financial reporting for the Dutch legal entity. This hybrid role involves leading month-end close, preparing statutory accounts, managing audits, and providing technical accounting advice. You will also mentor an Accounts Payable specialist and contribute to strategic finance projects.

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Prepare and coordinate Dutch statutory financial statements
• Manage information requests for internal and external audits
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and complex accounting areas
• Provide advice on reporting adjustments and accounting principles
• Mentor Accounts Payable specialist
