Accounting Specialist

Dow is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. This role involves general ledger maintenance, financial close support, US GAAP to IFRS compliance, and preparing financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, fluent English, and at least six years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Maintain general ledger, review financial scorecards, and perform reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS principles
• Prepare financial statement footnotes and supporting schedules
• Conduct fluctuation analysis and financial statement analytics
• Implement and document internal controls for SOX compliance
