Accountant

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Accountant to perform general and advanced accounting duties within the USNH Financial Operations Center. This role involves ledger maintenance, financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with funding and reporting requirements. You will also interact with internal and external auditors and advise on financial policies.

• Perform advanced accounting duties including ledger maintenance and analysis
• Analyze financial data and prepare management reports and financial statements
• Monitor revenue and expenses, ensuring expenditure control and compliance
• Coordinate preparation of billings, cost reports, and financial statements
• Interact with internal and external auditors
• Advise on and interpret financial policies to faculty, staff, and external parties
