Accountant - Treasury

Sanford Health is seeking an Accountant to provide accurate financial record keeping and reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and organizational standards. This role involves managing day-to-day transactions, completing month-end closing, preparing journal entries, and reconciling the general ledger. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and Excel skills, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and two years of preferred experience.

• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Complete month-end closing cycle and reconciliation
• Prepare accurate journal entries and resolve discrepancies
• Utilize financial systems to update and report consolidated financial results
• Create reports on organization's financial performance
• Demonstrate fluency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
