LaSalle Investment Management is seeking a Portfolio Accountant in Chicago to manage accounting and reporting for Canadian real estate portfolios using IFRS. This role involves close collaboration with the Portfolio Controller, utilizing AI-driven innovation for process automation and efficiency, and contributing to portfolio performance analysis and investor reporting.

What we are looking for

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities for Canadian real estate portfolios
Prepare and post journal entries, conduct financial analysis, and review NAV packs
Coordinate with cash management team for investor subscriptions, distributions, and fee processing
Calculate, analyze, and report investment performance returns
Identify and lead AI-driven process improvement initiatives
Support year-end audit and tax requirements
