Sr Accounting Analyst

As a Sr. Accounting Analyst at Xcel Energy, you will perform essential accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely close cycles. You will analyze complex financial data, reconcile accounts, and prepare various financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations within a leading energy provider and support the clean energy transition.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close cycles
• Analyze complex financial data and reconcile accounts
• Prepare financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings
• Participate in or lead special accounting projects
• Consult with internal clients on accounting and system matters
• Minimum 4 years of general financial accounting and reporting experience
