About this role
Materion is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to manage cost accounting functions for our Elmore, Ohio manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in month-end closing, annual budgeting, and physical inventory processes, while collaborating with various plant departments. This position offers the opportunity to maintain our standard cost system and support other plant locations.

- Manage month-end closing activities and journal entries
- Analyze production order activity and spending variances
- Assist with annual operating budget and capital spending plans
- Support annual physical inventory and cycle count audits
- Maintain standard cost system and ensure GAAP compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
