Financial Controller

Aker Systems is seeking a Chartered Accountant to serve as a Financial Controller for their UK-based SME. This remote role involves leading all accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and financial planning, reporting directly to the CFO. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.

• Lead month/quarter/year-end close processes
• Develop financial forecasts and annual budgets
• Prepare insightful monthly financial reports
• Ensure financial accuracy and integrity
• Manage cash flow and liquidity
• Lead and mentor a finance team
