CoinDesk, a leading media and data company in the crypto economy, seeks a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting functions and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closes. This role involves reconciling cryptocurrency transactions, collaborating with SEC Reporting and FP&A teams, and staying updated on evolving digital asset accounting standards.
What we are looking for
6- Own and review month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and blockchain transactions
- Assist in developing accounting policies for the cryptocurrency industry
- Collaborate with SEC Reporting team on financial statements
- Support external audits and prepare documentation
- Monitor and analyze financial data for trends and improvements
