Senior Accountant

Saia is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial records and ensure accurate transaction recording. This role involves overseeing general accounting functions, completing month-end close tasks, and reviewing financial entries. The Senior Accountant will also develop internal controls, provide financial analysis, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Oversee general accounting functions, including research, report preparation, and analysis
• Complete month-end close tasks, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports
• Develop and implement internal controls
• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff
