Accounting Manager, Investment Accounting

Genworth is seeking an Accounting Manager for their Investment Accounting team in Richmond, Virginia. This hybrid role involves ensuring accurate investment performance reporting, SEC and U.S. Statutory reporting, and managing transaction processing and reconciliations for the organization's Fixed Income investment portfolio. The position requires collaboration across teams, leading accounting policy implementation, and managing auditor interactions.

• Manage investments performance reporting, SEC reporting, and U.S. Statutory reporting
• Supervise and review transaction processing and balance reconciliations
• Oversee impairment and security valuation processes and related controls
• Lead accounting policy implementation and strategic business process redesign
• Collaborate cross-functionally to create efficiencies and deliver business results
• Lead interactions with auditors and maintain SOX controls documentation
