Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a Performance & Observability Engineer to enhance system reliability and performance. This role involves transitioning from traditional monitoring to full observability, implementing frameworks for metrics, logs, and traces, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and applications. You will play a key part in reducing incident detection and resolution times and ensuring system health.

What we are looking for

Analyze application, database, and infrastructure performance
Design and implement end-to-end observability frameworks
Transition from basic alerting to proactive insights
Reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR)
Ensure log retention, security, and compliance with standards
Develop executive dashboards and reporting frameworks
