Accountant - Office of the Bursar Fee Assessor Team

Penn State's Office of the Bursar is seeking a full-time Accountant to join the Fee Assessor Team. This role involves reviewing residency cases, assessing tuition and fees, and collaborating with academic departments on graduate assistantships and employee tuition discounts. You will analyze student accounts, advise on adjustments, audit assessments, and manage communications with students and stakeholders.

• Review and adjudicate complex residency cases
• Assist with tuition and fee assessment for all campuses
• Collaborate with academic departments on Graduate Assistantship awards
• Analyze student records for tuition and fee adjustments
• Audit daily, weekly, and monthly tuition and fee assessments
• Respond to inquiries and draft correspondence to students and families
