Staff Accountant - Accounting and Financial Reporting

Akumin is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our financial reporting and month-end close processes. You will prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packets
• Prepare and post journal entries, including for debt, equity, and intangible assets
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with daily cash management and treasury reporting
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of related experience
