Senior Accountant

Hudson River Trading is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Legal Entity Control team. You will gain exposure to diverse accounting functions including corporate fund accounting, expense management, and financial reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with developers on building and implementing automated accounting and reporting tools.

• Perform daily and month-end closing procedures for regulated and non-regulated entities
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Payroll teams
• Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and financial reports
• Utilize and test automated tools including Workday, SQL, and Python scripts
• CPA license required with 2-4 years of financial services accounting experience
