Lead Accounting Analyst - Regulatory (Carolinas Accounting & Reporting)

Lead accounting analyst responsible for regulatory reporting and compliance within GAAP and FERC rules. This role involves complex analysis, research, and project leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and support management decisions. You will collaborate with various departments and external bodies to manage regulatory accounting issues and drive process improvements.

• Solve complex regulatory accounting issues aligned with GAAP and FERC
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects including rate cases and data requests
• Drive continuous process improvement in regulatory accounting functions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Provide leadership oversight for regulatory deferrals and storm cost deferrals
• Lead accounting and reporting support for Energy Efficiency Rider and emerging regulatory deferrals
