Budget Analyst

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission is seeking a Budget Analyst to compile and analyze agency financial data, including revenues and expenditures. This role involves determining budgetary requirements, assisting managers with budget proposals, and conducting research on factors affecting budgets. The analyst will also review revenue projections, make recommendations for program adjustments, and develop budget work programs.

• Compile and analyze agency financial transactions, revenues, and expenditures
• Analyze financial information for personnel, capital projects, supplies, and expenses
• Determine budgetary requirements by function and activity
• Assist agency managers in preparing budget estimates and proposals
• Review revenue projections and match them to projected expenditures
• Develop agency budget work programs and prepare proposed legislation
