Senior Accountant

Join the Corporate Accounting team at Tyson Foods to support financial accounting for centralized business units and drive process transformation. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial results in compliance with US GAAP, while partnering with various teams to improve the close and reporting cycle.

• Execute month-end close processes and analyze financial fluctuations
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and issue resolution
• Partner to automate, transition, and scale accounting work to a centralized model
• Develop standard operating procedures for transitioned processes
• Collaborate with Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Tax, and Business Unit Finance teams
• Support implementation and optimization of accounting tools like SAP and BlackLine
