Senior Manager - Accounting and Financial Reporting

TIAA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead statutory accounting and financial reporting for their insurance and reinsurance operations. This role involves overseeing the general ledger close, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and managing a US-based team while collaborating with India-based resources. The position requires a strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and financial statement preparation.

• Manage statutory accounting and financial reporting for insurance and reinsurance
• Oversee general ledger close and reconciliation processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting requirements
• Lead a US-based team and leverage India-based resources
• Partner with Actuarial, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit requests
