Accountant

Abbott is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a Shared Services environment. This role involves executing period-end close activities, preparing and analyzing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting automation tools and a continuous improvement mindset.

• Support day-to-day accounting operations in a Shared Services environment
• Execute period-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Review and approve journal entries from third-party shared service providers
• Execute accounting RDA bots for automated tasks
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and company policies
• Collaborate with FP&A, global accounting teams, and service providers
