Accounting Manager

MPC is seeking an Accounting Manager for its Galveston Bay Refinery to oversee contractor attendance, invoicing, and payment processes using the TRACK application. This role involves supervising a team, managing day-to-day activities, resolving issues with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls and accounting policies.

• Oversee contractor attendance, invoicing, and payment via TRACK application
• Supervise a team of approximately 7 exempt and non-exempt individuals
• Manage day-to-day activities related to contractor accountability and per-diem issues
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, IT, and external vendors to resolve issues
• Ensure TRACK-related SOX controls are executed effectively
• Assist in implementing new accounting policies and communicating changes
