Accountant - Budget

This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, including contractual adjustments, charity care, and bad debt. You will also manage annual budgets, tax returns, and regulatory reporting for Medicare and Medicaid. The position requires analyzing accounting functions and recommending improvements.

• Prepare and analyze estimated contractual adjustments, charity and bad debt
• File Medicare and Medicaid annual cost reports and settlements
• Maintain annual budgets, Federal/State and Local tax returns
• Perform cost analysis and interpret federal and state regulations
• Assess and improve accounting functions
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, consultants, and auditors
