Financial Accountant

Tiger Brands is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of logistics financial reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accruals, analyzing costs, and supporting month-end close processes. You will translate financial data into actionable insights to optimize operations and performance.

• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of logistics financial reporting
• Prepare and review journals, ledger transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze logistics and distribution costs, identify cost drivers, and explain variances
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Reconcile logistics-related expenditure and investigate discrepancies
• Provide financial support to Logistics Operations and Finance teams
