Assistant- Accounting

South Texas College is seeking an Accounts Payable Accounting Assistant to process invoices, manage supplier payments, and resolve billing inquiries. This role ensures timely payments and provides support to faculty and staff regarding accounts payable procedures.

• Process invoice reconciliation and supplier payments
• Perform three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Provide customer service to college faculty, staff, and external requesters
• Assist with accounts payable guidelines and procedures
• Requires an Associate's degree or 60 college hours, accounting experience preferred
