Senior Staff Accountant

J.B. Hunt is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to ensure accurate financial statements and develop solutions for complex financial analysis and reporting. This role involves assisting the Controller, collaborating with departments on expense management, and preparing financial reports for internal and external use.

• Assisting the Controller and representing Finance in management meetings
• Collaborating with departments on expense management strategies
• Preparing reports and presentations on financial performance
• Performing accounting functions including record keeping and reporting
• Managing distribution of tasks to junior staff
• Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
