Accounting Manager, Payroll Tax & Compliance

The University of Southern California (USC) seeks an Accounting Manager for Payroll Tax & Compliance to oversee payroll tax accounting and compliance across the university. This hybrid role involves managing a team of five, providing technical expertise, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll tax reporting and filings across multiple states.

• Manage payroll tax accounting and compliance across the university
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll tax reporting
• Serve as subject matter expert on payroll tax, accounting, and regulatory matters
• Lead and develop a team of five accounting staff
• Manage ADP Administrator functions for payroll tax filing and reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
