Financial Analyst – Southern Africa Region

The Financial Analyst will provide specialized financial services for the Southern Africa region, including proposal budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, and supporting field financial management processes. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, budget development, and systems innovation to ensure compliance with policies and best practices.

• Prepares financial reports and analysis comparing budgets to actuals
• Monitors and reports on spending rates of restricted and unrestricted funding
• Leads management of private awards, ensuring compliance and timely reporting
• Supports fiscal year budgeting process and develops program budgets
• Builds capacity for country directors and program managers on financial matters
• Collaborates on budget development for funding proposals and fiscal planning
