Senior Accountant

FIS is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its corporate accounting function, focusing on complex technology and operating expenses. You will apply U.S. GAAP, analyze financial data, and maintain controls across accounting and reporting processes. This role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage technology investments, contractor spend, and other complex transactions.

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Manage accounting for software, cloud computing, and technology-related costs
• Perform detailed variance analysis and explain period-over-period fluctuations
• Support internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
