Senior Project Accountant

Aypa Power seeks a Senior Project Accountant to manage project accounting, including construction costs, fixed assets, and leases. This role involves overseeing the general ledger, driving the month-end close process, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee day-to-day project accounting, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Manage accounting for construction costs, prepaid assets, fixed assets, CIP, accruals, and leases
• Prepare documentation and assist with external audits
• Lead monthly draw process for assigned projects
• Review owner contracts for accounting responsibilities
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
