Associate Vice President, Financial Reporting

Ares Management Corporation is seeking an experienced Associate Vice President to join the ACI team, focusing on financial reporting for their private business development company (BDC) structure. This role involves overseeing SEC filings, preparing fund reporting deliverables, and partnering with various internal teams and external auditors to ensure high-quality reporting processes.

• Oversee preparation and review of quarterly, annual and ad-hoc SEC filings
• Prepare fund reporting deliverables, disclosure committee and board materials
• Prepare U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists
• Coordinate with fund finance, accounting, legal, operations and investment teams
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors on reporting matters
• Support evaluation and implementation of new reporting requirements
