Technician, Accounting

Austin Community College is seeking an Accounting Technician to perform various technical accounting activities and support the Business Services team. This role involves assisting with accounting-related issues, processing transactions, preparing reports, and performing reconciliations. The position requires a high school diploma, two years of related experience, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Assist staff, students, and vendors with accounting issues
• Process employee vouchers, sponsorship letters, and purchase orders
• Prepare, analyze, and compile accounting reports and worksheets
• Perform reconciliation activities and process journal entries
• Audit invoices and research banking/billing transactions
• Assist with audits and month/annual closing procedures
