Financial Analyst II

Duke Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst II to provide financial support, reporting, and budgeting for the Natural Gas Business Unit. This role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, assisting with month-end close, and developing presentations for management. The analyst will partner with business leaders on financial priorities and challenges, primarily supporting O&M work.

• Prepare NGBU reporting including O&M, ROCR, and ad-hoc requests
• Develop variance explanations and drivers
• Assist with O&M budgets and financial analysis
• Prepare standard monthly reporting and update Power BI dashboards
• Partner with business leaders on financial priorities and challenges
• Support regulatory and external auditor data requests
