Senior Accountant - Financial Accounting

RaceTrac is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead a team of staff accountants in performing general accounting responsibilities. This role ensures financial schedules and deadlines are met, budgets are accurate, and develops strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors. The Senior Accountant will also oversee the close process and professionally develop staff accountants.

• Supervises and assists daily work of staff accountants
• Analyzes, researches, and prepares financial information
• Reviews invoice coding, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Ensures accuracy and timely completion of financial statements per GAAP
• Oversees the close process
