Staff Accountant

NRECA seeks a Staff Accountant to prepare monthly financial statements, analyze performance, and ensure accurate revenue recognition. This role involves maintaining the accounting system and providing relevant project reports to management. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to two days per week remote.

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support monthly financial reporting and comparative analysis
• Review general ledger accounts for proper classification and recording
• Analyze monthly financial results against budget and investigate variances
• Develop knowledge of department operations and business processes
• Improve monthly financial reporting processes
