Research Finance Senior Accountant

Brown University seeks a Senior Accountant to manage accounts and ledgers for research grants and contracts. This role involves account setup, oversight, and close-out, collaborating with various finance departments to maintain general ledger responsibility centers. You will prepare financial reports for sponsors, review expenditures for compliance, and resolve financial issues with research staff.

• Maintain accounts and ledgers for research grants and contracts
• Prepare financial reports for federal and non-federal sponsors
• Review research grant expenditures for compliance
• Collaborate with finance departments and research administration staff
• Provide training on Research Finance policies and procedures
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field plus 5-7 years' experience in research accounting
