Financial Analyst

HUB International is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Captive Department in Pittsburgh. This role involves assisting account handlers with daily activities, providing technical support, and preparing financial statements for captive insurance companies using QuickBooks. The position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and insurance accounting, as well as experience with various domicile reporting systems and premium tax returns.

• Prepare financial statements for captive insurance companies
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial statement preparation
• Understand accounting rules and regulations (GAAP, insurance accounting)
• Prepare and maintain general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement
• Experience with domicile annual reporting systems and premium tax returns
• Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and communication skills
