Staff Accountant

Larkin Street Youth Services seeks a Staff Accountant to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. This role involves processing payments, managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries under the guidance of the Controller. The position supports the mission to end youth homelessness by maintaining accurate financial records.

• Process and monitor incoming payments via multiple receipt forms
• Serve as primary backup for Accounts Payable Team
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile various accounts
• Reconcile donor database and public funding contracts to General Ledger
• Assist with month-end closing and audits
• Requires 5+ years progressive experience in AP, AR, and GL
