Accountant

MPC is seeking an Accountant in Denver, Colorado, to manage financial data, prepare financial statements, and ensure the integrity of accounting records. This role involves journal entries, reconciliations, process improvement, and supporting audits, with opportunities for mentorship.

• Collect, compile, analyze, and verify financial data
• Prepare analysis and schedules for financial statements
• Create and record journal entries, maintain general ledger, and reconcile accounts
• Identify efficiencies and recommend process improvements
• Support accounting processes and ensure standard business processes are followed
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure proper execution of controls
