Sr Accounting Analyst

As a Sr Accounting Analyst at Xcel Energy, you will perform essential accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely close cycles. This role involves analyzing complex financial data, reconciling accounts, and preparing various financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings. You will also contribute to special projects and provide consultation on accounting matters, playing a key role in maintaining financial integrity for a leading energy provider.

• Support accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close cycles
• Analyze complex financial data, reconcile accounts, and prepare ledger entries
• Prepare financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings
• Participate in or lead special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Consult with stakeholders on technical accounting and system-related matters
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 4+ years of experience
