Devops Engineer Principal

GDIT is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services, focusing on AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation for AI-driven solutions. This remote role involves developing data pipelines, implementing MLOps/AIOps, and ensuring high availability and security of cloud-native platforms.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using GitLab CI/CD
• Build and support Kubernetes platforms (Amazon EKS) for scalability and security
• Develop and automate ETL workflows and data pipelines for AI workloads
• Implement and support MLOps/AIOps and FinOps capabilities
• Troubleshoot Linux systems and optimize platform performance
• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
