About this role
Nelnet is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Cloud Application Platform team. This role focuses on accelerating cloud migration and modernizing applications through a code-first approach, emphasizing GitOps, DevOps, and DevSecOps principles. You will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and monitoring Azure infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
What we are looking for
6- Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for infrastructure and application deployments
- Automate routine operational tasks, security checks, and compliance reporting
- Implement and manage IaC pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment
- Enforce and maintain environment and application security based on established policies
- Monitor health and performance of development, QA, and performance environments
