About this role

First Orion is seeking a Platform Engineer to build, operate, and evolve the infrastructure powering their telecommunications products. This role will own the deployment pipeline and platform infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cloud-agnostic deployments.

What we are looking for

Own and maintain deployment pipelines across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises customer environments
Design and manage containerized infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Build, improve, and support CI/CD workflows
Ensure platform deployments are reproducible, consistent, and cloud-agnostic
Monitor platform health, performance, and reliability
Partner closely with software engineers to improve deployment processes and platform reliability
