About this role

Workday is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Federal Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on deploying, operating, and supporting a cloud-native service platform on Kubernetes for U.S. Federal Government contracts. You will be responsible for continuous platform updates, providing support for new customer environments, and collaborating on automation solutions.

What we are looking for

Update platform in line with open source release cycles (Kubernetes, Istio, Calico)
Provide level support for new customer environment buildouts
Collaborate with multi-functional teams on automation solutions
Own overall system health and hold engineering teams accountable to SLOs
Manage weekly platform release preparation and vulnerability management
Ensure teams meet customer-facing SLAs
