Systems Engineer (Comm & Networks Sys Engrg)

Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Senior Communications & Networks Systems Engineer for the E-7A Program in Tukwila, WA. This role involves evaluating communication subsystems, analyzing performance, and leading solutions across multiple engineering disciplines for an advanced Airborne Early Warning and Control platform. The position requires a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and is 100% onsite.

• Apply interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex communication subsystems
• Evaluate customer needs to define system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility
• Perform performance analyses to optimize system architecture and provide configuration recommendations
• Utilize understanding of hardware, software, transportation, and network layers for end-to-end systems
• Oversee analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and other quality factors
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues, including subsystem integration and constraints
