About this role

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Qualys, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud platforms and services. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering and operations, applying automation and observability to maintain highly available production systems. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and infrastructure teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve our systems.

What we are looking for

Monitor production applications, infrastructure, and distributed systems
Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
Support highly available and scalable production services and workloads
Automate operational processes using scripting and programming languages
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability
Monitor Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud environments (AWS, OCI, GCP)
