Staff Systems Engineer

BD is seeking an experienced Staff Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for complex product development initiatives. You will drive systems engineering strategy, translate needs into system solutions, lead requirement development and architecture, manage risk, and ensure successful integration and validation. This role also involves mentoring engineers and advancing best practices within the organization.

• Provide systems engineering leadership across multiple product development programs
• Lead system-level engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle
• Translate customer and stakeholder needs into system requirements and product solutions
• Define and drive system architecture strategies
• Lead system-level risk management activities
• Mentor and develop Systems Engineers and other technical contributors
